My trip to Haiti at the end of February started fairly "normal" . Within 48 hours of my arrival, things dramatically changed. Gangs attacked the airports and overtook more than 80% of Port-au-Prince causing the country to "shut down". My 2 week "planned" trip turned into just over 5 weeks.
